Terms of Use

Video to MP3 (app.videotomp3.audioconverter) · Last updated 26 August 2026

These terms cover your use of the Video to MP3 app, published by Zoopet. By installing or using the app you agree to them. If you do not, please uninstall the app.

What the app does

Video to MP3 extracts and converts the audio track of media files you already have on your device, into formats including MP3, M4A, WAV, FLAC and Opus. It also lets you trim audio, edit its tags, and set a result as your ringtone, alarm, or notification sound. All processing happens on your device.

What the app does not do

The app does not download media from the internet, from streaming services, or from any website. It has no built-in browser, no search, and no download feature. It only opens files you explicitly select from your own device.

Your responsibility for the content you convert

You are responsible for making sure you have the right to convert, copy, and keep any file you use with this app. Most music, films, television, and other published media are protected by copyright, and converting them may be restricted or unlawful depending on where you live and how you obtained the file.

Please use the app only with content you created, content you own, content licensed to you, or content that copyright law in your country permits you to copy — for example, a private copy of media you already own, where your local law allows it. Do not use the app to infringe anyone's rights. Zoopet is not responsible for how you use the app, and we cannot give you legal advice about what is permitted where you live.

Pro purchase

Pro is a one-time purchase, not a subscription. There is no recurring charge and nothing to cancel. It removes advertising and unlocks higher-bitrate output and batch conversion.

Purchases are processed by Google Play or the Samsung Galaxy Store, not by us — we never see or handle your payment details. Refunds are governed by that store's policy, and refund requests must go to the store you bought through. Pro is tied to the store account used to buy it and can be restored on a new device or after a reinstall by signing in with that same account.

Advertising

The app is supported by advertising unless you buy Pro. Ads are supplied by third-party networks, and we do not control or endorse their content. What data those networks collect is described in our Privacy Policy.

Availability and changes

We may add, change, or remove features, and we may stop supporting older versions of Android as the platform moves on. Some capabilities depend on your device — for example, Opus output requires Android 10 or later, and available codecs vary between manufacturers.

No warranty

The app is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including any warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that every file will convert successfully — media files vary enormously, and some are damaged, incomplete, or encoded in ways your device cannot read.

Keep your own backups

The app writes new audio files and never modifies your original video. Even so, please keep your own copies of anything important. We are not liable for lost or corrupted files.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, Zoopet is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app, including lost data or lost profits. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid for the app in the twelve months before the claim.

Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have under mandatory consumer-protection law in your country, including any statutory right to a refund or remedy.

Trademarks

MP3, Android, Google Play, and Samsung Galaxy Store are trademarks of their respective owners. This app is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any of them.

Open-source components

This app encodes MP3 using LAME, which is licensed under the GNU Lesser General Public License version 2.1. LAME is distributed inside the app as its own separate shared library so that it can be replaced, as the LGPL requires. The full licence text and the corresponding source are available on request from the address below, and the licence is also reproduced in the app under Settings → Open-source licences.

Changes to these terms

If these terms change materially, the updated version will be posted here with a new date at the top. Continuing to use the app after that means you accept the change.
